Leather Stains

Choosing Leather Stains

Ninth House Collection's leather accessories are cut from high-quality leather hides. Before selecting a hide, I inspect it closely to ensure there are no major flaws. Even the highest quality hide will have some markings. Leather is skin, and like all skin, it will have minor imperfections, such as scars, insect bites, wrinkles, and other marks that add to its character and beauty. Darker stains, like Black, Brown, and Mahogany, tend to hide these subtle marks with an even tone, while lighter stains, like Golden and Rustic Tan, may accentuate them for a more rugged, distressed look. Because each leather item is individually handcrafted, there may be a slight color variation between the photos and the item you receive.
